In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Platte County Pirates soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 win over the Ruskin Golden Eagles.

The Pirates (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Belton (Belton, MO). The Pirates enter the Suburban - Small 6 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Belton was overwhelmed by Truman (Independence, MO), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Fort Osage Indians (Independence, MO) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 23. Ruskin will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 13-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Raytown (Raytown, MO).
