The Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) volleyball held off the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to J.I. Burton for a Cumberland bout on Tuesday, October 22. Rye Cove will clash with a Black Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Lee drops to 0-16 on the campaign. The Generals host Union (Big Stone Gap, VA) to clash with the Bears in a Mountain 7 bout on Thursday, October 24. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Union lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Gate City (Gate City, VA)
