In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Petoskey Northmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Sault Area Blue Devils.

The Northmen (23-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Vikings enter the Big North challenge with a 25-8 record. In their last challenge, Cadillac beat Gaylord (Gaylord, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Sault Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Rayders enter the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI).
