Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) and the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), observed Rio Grande's volleyball team top West Mesa by a count of 2-0.
The Ravens (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque achieved victory over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albuquerque for a battle on Wednesday, October 29. West Mesa will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-1.
