With the win, Cherokee Trail advances its record to 14-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Mullen (Denver, CO) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, October 23. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-5.

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record.
