The La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) volleyball knocked off the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Sandia for a bout on Thursday, October 23. La Cueva will battle a Matadors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 6-7.
The Monarchs (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Eldorado notched a victory over Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1, in a non-league match.
