The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 7-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Screaming Eagle now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Brunswick for a Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A challenge on Thursday, October 23. Ashley will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 0-0 league New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, North Brunswick drops to 7-14 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Vikings in a Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A contest on Thursday, October 23. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 16-1. Hoggard won 4-2 in their recent league contest against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
