The Concord Spiders soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs to 2 in the Spiders league victory on Tuesday.
The Spiders now hold a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Salisbury for a South Piedmont 4A/5A bout on Thursday, October 23. Concord will play a Hornets team coming off a 7-2 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 15-0.
The Bulldogs (11-8) will now prepare for their game against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the South Piedmont 4A/5A game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Carson held off Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 1-0, in a league challenge.
