Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), observed Albemarle's volleyball team top Charlottesville by a tally of 3-0.

The Patriots (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the Jefferson contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County was defeated by Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Black Knights now own a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson test on Thursday, October 23. Charlottesville will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 17-4.
