In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Anna Coyotes volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Sherman Bearcats.

The Coyotes (20-22) will now prepare for their test against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 30-8 record. In their last test, Walnut Grove was defeated by McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 3-1, in a league test.

The Bearcats now own a 18-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denison for a 5A Region II District 9 test on Friday, October 24. Sherman will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-23.
