Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Maryvale Prep (Brooklandville, MD) and the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD), observed Maryvale Prep's volleyball team hold off Archbishop Spalding by a tally of 3-2.

The (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Garrison Forest (Owings Mills, MD). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Garrison Forest got by Notre Dame Prep (Towson, MD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 4-4 record.
