The Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) volleyball nipped the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Wildcats (18-14) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 13-15 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Grove got by Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Purple Raiders battle the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 23. Bloomington will attempt to improve on its 12-21 season record. The Railsplitters go into the battle with a 16-14 record after their 2-0 league win over Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL).
