Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Calvary Christian Academy LIONS (Dover, DE) and the host Delaware Valley Classical Titans (New Castle, DE), observed Calvary Christian Academy's volleyball team hold off Delaware Valley Classical by a count of 3-2.
The LIONS (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood Mennonite (Greenwood, DE). The Flames enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Greenwood Mennonite got by Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD), 3-1, in a league contest.
