Virginia High School Volleyball - Colonial Beach over Essex

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Colonial Beach Drifters volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Essex Trojans.

The Drifters (4-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians go into the Northern Neck test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Northumberland gained a win over Westmoreland (Montross, VA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Trojans now sport a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster for a Northern Neck test on Thursday, October 23. Essex will play a Red Devils team coming off a 3-2 league win over Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 18-4.
