Texas High School Volleyball - Conroe bounced by The Woodlands

The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders (21-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The War Eagles enter the 6A Region II District 13 challenge with a 26-9 record. In their last challenge, Oak Ridge achieved victory over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 18-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a 6A Region II District 13 test on Friday, October 24. Conroe will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Caney (New Caney, TX). The Indians record now stands at 5-36.
