The Warriors (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes enter the 1A District 4 contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Dora was knocked off by Elida (Elida, NM), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers battle the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) in a 1A District 4 battle, on Thursday, October 23. Lake Arthur will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Floyd (Floyd, NM).
