In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Highland Park Giants volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Niles West Wolves.

The Giants (11-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars come into the Central Suburban challenge with a 21-13 record. In their last challenge, Vernon Hills beat Maine East (Park Ridge, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves face the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a Central Suburban test, on Thursday, October 23. Niles West will attempt to advance on its 20-13 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 9-21 record after their 2-0 league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
