St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, St. Pius X improves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Sartans travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to meet the Eagles in a 4A District 5 challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Belen lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM)
Next, the Hornets meet the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 28. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
