Texas High School Volleyball - Hughes Springs over New Diana

The Hughes Springs Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting New Diana Eagles to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 13-23 record. They play next when they travel to Daingerfield for a 3A Region II District 13 game on Friday, October 24. Hughes Springs will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-16.

With the loss, New Diana drops to 22-17 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to play the Red Devils in a 3A Region II District 13 outing on Friday, October 24. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 18-14. Chapel Hill lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX)
