The Smithville Tigers volleyball squad (Smithville, TX), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX)
The Leopards (25-16) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets enter the 4A Region III District 22 battle with a 20-24 record. In their last battle, Caldwell was defeated by Bellville (Bellville, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Navasota for a 4A Region III District 22 battle on Friday, October 24. Smithville will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 19-20.
