Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) and the visiting Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), observed St. Francis's volleyball team top Marina by a count of 3-0.

The Sharks (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Seaside (Seaside, CA). The Spartans go into the Pacific Coast - Cypress battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Seaside achieved victory over Pacific Collegiate (Santa Cruz, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Mariners now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho San Juan for a Pacific Coast - Cypress challenge on Thursday, October 23. Marina will meet a Trailblazers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 19-7.
