Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Young Women's Leadership Academy Cardinals (San Antonio, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (29-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars come into the 3A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 24-13 record. In their last challenge, Cole beat Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals play the Great Hearts Monte Vista (San Antonio, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 27 game, on Friday, October 24. Young Women's Leadership Academy will attempt to advance on its 13-22 season record. The go into the game with a 8-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Randolph (Universal City, TX).
