Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wakefield School upgrades its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Fighting Owls travel to Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA) to meet the Foxcroft in a Greater Piedmont challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Foxcroft come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Foxcroft lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA)

Next, the Generals meet the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Washington-Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
