The Calhoun Sandcrabs held off the host Miller Buccaneers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Sandcrabs now have a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sinton for a 4A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, October 26. Calhoun will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 18-18.

The Buccaneers (6-20) will now prepare for their test against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Mustangs enter the 4A Region IV District 26 test with a 2-20 record.
