The Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) volleyball tipped the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 13-20 on the year. The Scorpions travel to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 25. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 7-7. West Mesa lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
The Matadors now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 25. Sandia will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-8.
