The Marshall Barristers volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA)

The Dons (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Cleveland nudged Sylmar (Sylmar, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Barristers encounter the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 22. Marshall will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
