In Saturday's league battle, the visiting McQueen Lancers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Douglas Tigers.
The Lancers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars go into the 5A North battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Spanish Springs was nudged by Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders go into the 5A North battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Reed nipped Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 3-0, in a league battle.
