In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Sturgis West Navigators soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Nantucket Whalers.

The Navigators (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Lions go into the Cape and Islands- Lighthouse battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, St. John Paul II nipped Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 8-1, in a league battle.

The Whalers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bristol-Plymouth RVT (Taunton, MA). The Craftsmen go into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Bristol-Plymouth RVT was overwhelmed by Diman RVT (Fall River, MA), 10-0, in a league battle.
