The La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Bears league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedra Vista for a game on Tuesday, October 25. La Cueva will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
The Mustangs (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Farmington dropped by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
