In Saturday's non-league game, the Rockport Vikings (Rockport, MA) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Salem Academy Charter Navigator (Salem, MA), by a count of 4-0.
The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Ipswich (Ipswich, MA). The Tigers come into the Cape Ann test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Ipswich nudged Triton Regional (Byfield, MA), 2-0, in a league test.
With the loss, Salem Academy Charter drops to 5-9 on the season.
