The Hawley Bearcats held off the host Albany Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.
The Bearcats now have a 20-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coleman for a 2A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, October 25. Hawley will confront a Bluecats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Albany (Albany, TX). The Bluecats record now stands at 4-14.
The Lions (22-8) will now prepare for their test against Ranger (Ranger, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region I District 6 test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Ranger was nudged by Bangs (Bangs, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
