Illinois High School Volleyball - Fairfield over Massac County

Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mules clash with the Carterville Lions (Carterville, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 22. Fairfield will attempt to advance on its 30-5 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 24-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL).

With the loss, Massac County drops to 28-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Staunton (Staunton, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, October 22. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 24-6. Staunton won 2-0 in their recent league match against Gillespie (Gillespie, IL)
