In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Jackson Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ypsilanti Grizzlies.

The Vikings (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Pinckney achieved victory over Chelsea (Chelsea, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Jackson Vikings (Jackson, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 22. Ypsilanti will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 7-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI).
