The Kettering Captains volleyball team (Waterford, MI), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI)

The Lions (29-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters enter the non-league challenge with a 23-17 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln defeated Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Captains encounter the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 25. Kettering will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 2-1 league win over North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI).
