In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St.Ignace Saints.

The Blue Devils (18-14) will now prepare for their battle against Newberry (Newberry, MI). The Indians come into the Eastern Upper Peninsula battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Newberry was edged by Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI), 3-0, in a league battle.
