Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), observed King's Fork's volleyball team top Lakeland by a count of 3-1.

The Bulldogs (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers enter the Southeastern contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Oscar Smith was knocked off by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Cavaliers battle the Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 23. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Truckers enter the contest with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA).
