California High School Flag Football - Escondido holds off Sage Creek

The Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA) flag football tipped the visiting Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 21-19 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host San Pasqual for a Valley outing on Tuesday, October 29. Escondido will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 20-18 league loss to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

With the defeat, Sage Creek drops to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 24.
