Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Griswold moves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Plainfield (Central Village, CT) to clash with the Panthers in a Eastern Connecticut III test on Thursday, October 24. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-7. Plainfield lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Stonington (Stonington, CT)
