The Hornets (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the 4A District 5 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X tipped West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a 4A District 5 battle, on Thursday, October 24. Valencia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Grants (Grants, NM).
