Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), 7-4 in a league test.

With the triumph, Croatan moves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 24. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 12-9. Dixon won 5-1 in their recent league test against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC)

The Vikings now sport a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richlands for a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 24. White Oak will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-2 league Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-6.
