With the triumph, Dixon moves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Croatan (Newport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 24. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 11-7. Croatan won 7-4 in their recent league test against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swansboro for a Coastal 3A test on Thursday, October 24. West Carteret will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 2-2 league Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 10-5.
