Texas High School Volleyball - Angleton over La Porte

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Angleton Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the La Porte Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Friendswood (Friendswood, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region III District 20 challenge with a 33-7 record. In their last challenge, Friendswood beat Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge, on Friday, October 25. La Porte will attempt to upgrade on its 19-16 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 16-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX).
