In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Cloudcroft Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mescalero Apache Chiefs.
The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers come into the 2A District 3 challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Mesilla Valley Christian School beat Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs play the Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) in a 2A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Mescalero Apache will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM).
