The La Vega Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Connally Cadets to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now have a 5-20 record. They play next when they travel to Robinson for a 4A Region III District 23 outing on Friday, October 25. La Vega will play a Rockets team coming off a 3-2 league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 15-25.

With the loss, Connally drops to 11-22 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Lorena (Lorena, TX) to play the Leopards in a 4A Region III District 23 outing on Friday, October 25. The Leopards come into the outing with a record of 22-15. Lorena lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against China Spring (China Spring, TX)
