The Cougars (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mapleton (Mapleton, OR). The Sailors enter the 1A Mountain West contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Mapleton notched a victory over Mannahouse Christian Academy (Eugene, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the meet the McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR) in a 1A Mountain West contest, on Thursday, October 24. Siletz Valley will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Triangle Lake (Blachly, OR).
