In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Galax Maroon Tide.

Next, the Maroon Tide meet the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Galax will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
