In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Gateway Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lake Arthur Panthers.

The Warriors (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes come into the 1A District 4 challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, Dora was beaten by Elida (Elida, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Lake Arthur will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Floyd (Floyd, NM).
