Texas High School Volleyball - George West overwhelmed by Taft

Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting George West Longhorns (George West, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Taft advances its record to 6-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX) to face the Panthers in a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, October 29. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-15.

The Longhorns now sport a 6-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Three Rivers for a non-league test on Friday, October 25. George West will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-19.
