Illinois High School Volleyball - Hall tips Newman Central Catholic

October 22, 2024: Spring Valley, IL 61362

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL) and the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL), observed Hall's volleyball team hold off Newman Central Catholic by a count of 2-1.

The Red Devils (16-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese enter the non-league contest with a 28-6 record. In their last contest, Wethersfield got by Knoxville (Knoxville, IL), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Comets battle the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) in a Three Rivers contest, on Wednesday, October 23. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 2-31 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 15-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Orion (Orion, IL).
