Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hankinson Pirates (Hankinson, ND), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Maple River improves its record to 19-18 on the season. The Eagles host Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND) to face the H-CV Burros in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The H-CV Burros go into the test with a record of 10-1. Hillsboro/Central Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Thompson (Thompson, ND)

The Pirates now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood for a B - Region 1 test on Tuesday, October 29. Hankinson will face a Warbirds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND). The Warbirds record now stands at 13-7.
